She is a former surgical Registered Nurse with a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology from Atlantic University in Virginia Beach, VA. She is an advocate for those recovering from trauma of any kind, including domestic violence, those who have served/are serving in the military/police/fire/rescue–as well as “every day” trauma related to identity changes due to job, health and relationship, death of a person or pet, and more.
