About

I am an E-500-RYT with Yoga Alliance, and an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist with the Himalayan Institute.

I had the great privilege of teaching yoga since 2007 and being the director and lead instructor at the 200-RYS at Minneapolis Community and Technical College (from 2013-2021) where I aspired to humbly teach subjects such as; Yoga: Science of the Mind, The Art of Teaching Yoga, Yoga Anatomy and Practices for the Physical Body, Yoga Anatomy and Practices for the Subtle Body, Beginning Hatha Yoga, Advanced Hatha Yoga, Introduction to Energy Medicine, Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness, Ayurveda, as well as other health related topics. My loves include sadhana, meditation, sanskrit, mantra, and sharing the authentic teachings of yoga. Specialty trainings include Y12SR, Mindful Resilience for Trauma Teacher (Veterans Yoga Project), SuperStretch for Kids, Chair Yoga, Silver Age Yoga, and Yin Yoga. My greatest influences and mentors are Indu Arora, Sally Kempton, Nikki Myers, Hareesh, Caprina Brown, Leela Ugargol, Swami Svarupananda, and Tanya Boigenzahn. I currently teach gentle yoga and meditation every other Monday morning at the great establishment of the YMCA of the North in Woodbury, MN. Please check out some of my guided practices at Minneapolis College YTT.
