Jennifer Mizenko is Professor of Movement for the Actor and Dance at the University of Mississippi where she has run the Theater Departments dance program since and the movement program since In Jennifer achieved certification as a teacher in the Alexander Technique at the Alexander Alliance in Philadelphia PA and is a teaching member of Alexander Technique International She was also certified as a Laban Movement Analyst at The Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in New York City in the same year As a dancer yoga has always been a part of Jennifers life Her life long love of movement and understanding of movement and emotion led Jennifer to pursue her Yoga Certification at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja Mexico February Her main teachers were Allison Easton Craig Perkins and Mercy Anada The experience at Yandara was transformative and Jennifer is eager to share this experience with the world .
