About

Jen is an E-RYT 500 registered yoga teacher who has always had a connection to the exploration of movement and the expression of her heart and is thankful her Father and her late Mother for this upbringing.

She has been teaching yoga since 2001 and studying movement and yoga for the majority of her life. Her teaching background includes public classes, business classes, yoga for special populations, private sessions, retreats, workshops, teacher clinics and teacher training. Her teaching style offers clear precise alignment that is playful as well as soulful. While teaching she incorporates her many years of studying dance and various forms of movement, where she had the opportunity to learn about energy, anatomy, and the fullness of expression. This is intertwined with her in-depth study of Anusara Yoga (previously licensed Anusara teacher), therapeutic benefits of yoga, and non-dual philosophy. She has studied with Noah Maze, Desiree Rumbaugh, John Friend, Judith Lasater, Simon Park, Donna Farhi, Douglas Brooks, Paul Muller-Ortega, Sianna Sherman, and many other amazing teachers. She also is studying Craniosacral, CST, under the Upledger Institute and Yoga Health Coaching with Cate Stillman, combining Ayurveda, yoga, and modern habit science to support wellness. Besides all the joy and in-depth awareness that is brought from practicing, studying, and teaching she also appreciates many other avenues that add to the richness of life. Especially being with her husband and daughter <3......and, of course, the trails where she finds a great amount of peace and love, typically while trail running. Come ready to play and find a deeper connection to your heart.
