About

I was introduced to my first Yoga class back in 2001 through a friend.

Somewhere in a pretzel posture I didn't really understand at the time, something inside of me just clicked and I felt I had found something that really felt right for me.. both mentally, physically, and spiritually.. I continued with Hot Yoga for the next 12 years before I really started to try other types of yoga and broaden my experience.. Doing teacher training has been something I have been wanting to do for a long time, for myself and my practice, and to be able to share with others what brought me so much peace and joy, and especially with the crazy lifestyles a lot of us live these days... it brought me mental and physical strength and harmony. So in January, 2015, I finally took off to go to Costa Rica to train with Marianne Wells and complete a 200hrs YTT. It was such an eye-opening , humbling, growing experience of both learning and unlearning and believe we all came out of there with so much lust for life! Since then I have continued my journey with 100hrs teacher training in Bali with Marianne Wells 2019. And in March 2025 I completed a 300hrs YTT in Goa, India, with Olivier Charles and Yogart Collective. Studying pranayama and meditation, philosophy and Ayurveda, asana, anatomy, sequencing, and methodology. I currently offer private yoga classes in New York City, both in person and online. I am excited for the journey and having Yoga in my life and sharing it! Sat Nam, Jennifer
