A previous dancer and theatrical performer I developed an interest in the arts as a discipline I continued to develop my technique in dance and theatre in college increasing my involvement to a design and technical level Receiving an Equity card in I have held various positions in design and entertainment businesses and co-founded an NYC-based non-profit theater company The past nearly fifteen years have brought me joy in teaching in the world of theatre arts and production as well as in humanities and in health and wellness in public and private schools as a teaching artist and as full time faculty Through YogaVeda school I have received RYThrs training provided with the Bhakti Center and Stanton St Yoga In refreshing focus on holistic health of mind body and spiritual wellness I have been empowered to revitalize my arts teaching to include Yoga practices in service meditation and asana Currently I am on the sub list with Primary a collaborative wellness/workspace office I also host yoga classes through Yoga in Your Park where I embrace the green spaces of NYC to connect mind body spirit with mother nature to improve true self-awareness in an understanding of our symbiotic relationship with our eco-systems Specialties: production management budgetary management grant proposals graphic design lighting/sound design direction theatrical criticism/review education service-learning see blog site at: http://nativeamericanexperiencewordpresscom and yoga.
