Jessica found yoga in 2011 and immediately felt aligned and connected with the practice.
After growing up with a dance background, she was drawn to the rhythmic sequences with movement and breath, making it a complimentary transition. In 2019, she received her 200-hour training in Bali, Indonesia from Parahita with a focus on Vinyasa and Hatha, She later received her 500-hour training in 2022 from Samanova to include Yin, Yoga Nidra, and other advanced practices. With vinyasa being her primary focus, her teaching style includes the fundamentals of connecting movement, alignment, and breath, through a vinyasa flow with a balance of challenge, fluidity, and accessibility. You can expect to be challenged in a safe way to recognize your strength and resilience both on and off the mat, and leave class feeling rewarded, empowered, and focused. She not only an experienced 500hr Yoga Teacher but also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor which shines through with her trauma informed language and encouragement to practice yoga both on and off the mat. Jessica is a student first and always looking to expand her practice.
