About
I began my yoga practice in 2014.
Unbeknownst to me I’d fall in love with it. It started with external + physical goals, but quickly turned into internal work. Going internal is something I don’t shy away from, so learning this about the practice made me feel even more at home. As an athlete for 20 years of my life, 4 of those being on the collegiate level, intensity was what I was used to. To be able to slow it down, but still maintain the challenging aspects, is why I enjoy power vinyasa style. To be able to challenge myself physically and mentally, as I did on the courts and particularly on the track and field. What I want to offer students and clients, particularly those who have a similar mindset that it has to be intense and hard in order to feel beneficial, is the beauty and power in slowing down and going within. I offer love and compassion to myself, so I inherently give that to others which is what I hope my students and clients feel once they leave a class or session with me. Empowered. Still. Strong - are words that come to mind when I think of my classes + session with me. RYT 200
