Jessica Palmer completed her 200-hr YTT in Power Vinyasa Yoga in February 2015 with Flydog Yoga in Charlottesville, VA.
She completed her 50-hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts with Semperviva Yoga in 2018. Her experience in children’s yoga comes from Karma Kids Yoga in NYC and Yoga4Classrooms through ChildLight Yoga, as well as her 15 years of experience as a full-time public school teacher at the elementary level. She has taught classes in hatha, vinyasa, yin, and children’s yoga since 2015. In 2018 she co-led FlyDog Yoga's 20-hour Yin Teacher Training. She is a passionate and dedicated long-distance runner, and is inspired by the kids and adults she has coached and run alongside through many miles of training for endurance events, in addition to the fellow pilgrims she has met on her yoga mat. Jessica guides her classes with an intention to tune into the core of our being and attention to the collective energy in the surrounding air. She leads a quiet and calm practice that invites you to awaken your heart, breathe, and be.
