I started taking yoga classes with my mom as a pre-teen.
I loved it right away and have maintained a mostly consistent practice ever since. I began teaching gentle, Iyengar style in 2008. I love the attention to detail in Iyengar yoga. I completed a Vinyasa 200hour teacher training in 2014 and have added Vinyasa style. I love the moving meditation style of this yoga. I completed a 300hr training with Jules Mitchell in 2022. It completely re-inspired me and has been a gamechanger for many of my private students. I am a science geek at heart. I love the anatomical details of poses and love to tell students of the benefits for each posture we do. I love to teach to all levels of yoga, especially the very tight or older yogi who may need some extra guidance in making yoga work for their bodies. I have a regular vinyasa and Iyengar practice currently. I have practiced Bikram, yin and mysore as well. I am also inspired by Animal Flow and my teachings reflect the broad nature of my interests.
