Born and raised in south Texas, I started practicing yoga in high school after my mom took a few classes.
I continued my practice on and off for the next 24 years. In the Fall of 2023, the universe aligned, finally, and I enrolled into the Winter 2024 200HR We Are One Yoga TT at Temple Yoga in Reno, NV led by Melissa Martinez and Pradeep Teotia. I love all types of yoga philosophy, hatha yoga, meditation, alternative movement practices and sound healing modalities. As a new teacher in a very modern world that skews chaotic, I look forward to finding ways to aid my students in finding inner peace and providing them with a tool box to better manage the demands of our daily lives and society. You can currently find me teaching at Soul Tree Yoga in south Reno. I lead a Tuesday mornings 7am Rise and Flow Hatha Yoga All-Levels Class. **Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).**
