About
I first came to the yoga mat in 2007, as a 50+ mother of two teens.
I was in need of my "self" once again. Seven years later, I became an empty-nester and completed my 200 RYT. I wish to share the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga in a multilevel, Vinyasa-based class which encourages students to work at their own level and listen to their body as it changes every day. Yoga is not performance art. Rather, yoga is in the details. Breath, stillness, and reflection are an integral part of my class. I also teach chair yoga. Beyond yoga, I enjoy reading, traveling the world, and being involved in social justice issues.
