Hi there, I’m Jo, a British girl living in north county San Diego.
I am a mom and worked in corporate America for years. It is my son Jack who inspires me to teach yoga. I want to share yoga with anyone whether beginner or well practiced. I am a 500 hour trained teacher with a deep knowledge of anatomy, meditation and mindfulness. I am a yoga teacher who focuses on the foundations of yoga. Even if you have been practicing for years, reiteration of proper alignment and breath work is always helpful. I am focused on helping with anxiety, depression and grief. Yoga is a wonderful therapy for moving emotions through the body and healing. I lost my teenage son a few years ago, and being on the mat has been really important in my journey. I also focus on Yoga for core strength and fitness with fundamentals in ashtanga flow. I am passionate about mindfulness and finding peace throughout our busy days, time for quiet meditation can always be squeezed in. I’m really happy to assist anyone who feels overwhelmed, or sad and would charge a nominal teaching fee. I know how vital yoga is and it’s not always accessible to everyone although it really should be.
