About

I had practiced yoga when I was in my 20s, but, as we all know ...

life has a way of moving fast! Before I knew it, I was approaching 50 and realized I wanted to go deeper into my yoga and decided to get certified as a yoga teacher. At the age of 49 I became a yoga teacher and opened my own yoga studio. The studio focused on the "softer side of yoga" specializing in gentle practices including yin, restorative, slow flow, and chair yoga. Fast forward a few more years and I took a deep dive into the study of Yoga Therapy and obtained my 500 RYT status. I am truly passionate about yoga, especially a slow, mindful practice. I continue to train in various aspects of yoga, including Yoga Nidra, Myofascial Release, and especially all things Yoga Therapy. I work with students one-on-one in a yoga therapy setting. I also teach group classes. Wherever I teach, my goal is to meet the student where they are and provide a practice that is mindful and compassionate.
