Jordon Richards

This practice grew over the course of several years into a big part of my life. At first, I was primarily focused on the physical asanas. Shortly after I started to look forward to my time on the mat. I started to notice that I was feeling different. Small shifts internally started to project outwardly in my everyday life. My thoughts, my words, my actions. Yoga gave me a place to reflect, and a place to be unapologetically authentic. My mat was a place free of expectations from others, and a place I could be completely honest with myself. I realized that I use to be so focused on appearing to have everything “right” that I never gave myself space to be me. I had placed all of these expectations on myself that I thought everyone else wanted. These expectations limited me from feeling and experiencing the deep joys of life. Yoga gave me a space to be free. A new beginning. I teach because I want to give my students a safe and loving place to find the way back home to themselves. -Jordon
