Bio Joe Barnett ERYT- based in Tucson AZ has been teaching for years He travels nationally and internationally year round offering presentations and trainings on the Yin Yoga Sutras and several Yin Yoga TT Modules known as Yin Variations He provides a deep study both experiential and anatomical of the crude physical of Skeleton and Fascia as well as the more subtle energetics of Meridians and Chakras Joe is a senior student and primary teaching assistant of Paul Grilley paulgrilleycom a true Yoga Scientist founder of Yin Yoga and creator of The Yin Yoga Sutras  Joe was the first and longest running assistant beginning with the formation of the first Grilley Yin Yoga TT at Land of Buddha in Soquel California But Joes direct studies under Grilley began a few years earlier in the year when Joe first traveled to Oregon to meet the Grilley family personally to read and study the Bhagavad Gita and practice Yin Yoga and Chakra Meditation After several years of apprenticing under Grilley Joe was encouraged by his teacher to roam the globe to spread the techniques and wisdom of Yin Yoga Functional Anatomy individual variations within yoga asana and  Chakra Meditation These adventures continue to develop a larger community of Yin Yoga devotees across the world each adding their own unique practice and breath to the gentle exhale of Yin  "Joe Barnett has been our friend and assistant for many years He has two qualities that make him an excellent presenter: he knows the anatomical principles and he relates to people in a sympathetic manner His presentations are unhurried hands on demonstrations this is the easiest way to absorb these ideas” ~ Paul and Suzee Grilley Joseph Barnett is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT with Yoga Alliance which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School RYS.
