Im Josh a yoga meditation and breathwork teacher With over two decades of personal practice and more than a decade of teaching experience I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my classes I hold a -hour yoga teacher certification a Level Yin Yoga Teaching certification and am certified in Pranayama/Breathwork My teaching style is a unique blend of my personal practice extensive training and my background in theatre This fusion creates an ever-evolving class that meets the present needs of my students I constantly seek the balance between pushing boundaries and finding moments of stillness and breath Compassion and inclusivity are at the heart of my practice and teaching I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where all versions of humanity are welcome Over the years I have taught various styles but I specialize in Vinyasa and Ashtanga-inspired practices I also have a deep appreciation for the slower yet equally challenging practices of Hatha and Yin My approach is informed by Iyengar principles making my classes accessible to people of all abilities I firmly believe in following best alignment practices based on current science Laughter is a powerful tool in yoga and youll find plenty of it in my classes I believe in lightening up the practice giving people the space to laugh at themselves With my theatre background you might even pick up some acting tips as a bonus!
