About
Joya Santarelli, 200 RYT Joya lives by the mantra that one is never too old, too inflexible, too late, too inexperienced, or too "anything" to try something new.
This is evidenced by the fact that she didn't start practicing yoga until the age of 34. At this time, she recently discovered that she had a chronic illness, multiple sclerosis. Upon asking her neurologist what his best advice was for her to stay mobile and out of a wheelchair...he responded with one word...YOGA! Since falling in love with both the yoga asanas and mindset, she has continued to beat multiple sclerosis and in turn become a better human. Joya's classes are filled with dynamic beats, energized vinyasa flows with a sprinkle of mantras, mudras and mindfulness. She strives to encourage all of her students to open themselves up to a journey of self discovery every time they roll out their mat in her class.
