I am also certified in Chair Yoga and Yoga Nidra. I have been practicing yoga since 2007. I started yoga because the discs of my lower back become severly herniated. The pain was unbearable and most MD's wanted to do surgery because the other treatments did not work. I was lucky to find a great DR (formerly a dancer) who suggested that I do acupuncture and yoga. I then found the BEST yoga teacher in Orlando, Edely Wallace who has her own amazing story of healing. I worked on it and with no surgery was able to heal my back. I LOVED yoga, it helped me feel calm in a very stressful world! I promised once I retired from my corporate job at Walt Disney Worldmthat I would give back and teach yoga. I am fulfilling my promise. I teach GENTLE YOGA and beleive the breath and mind to body connection is the MOST important aspect to yoga. I plan to teach private lessons or very small groups so that I can assist clients in a more personal way.
