About

Judy’s journey to Yoga began through Ayurveda.

In 2006, she was looking for a more overall holistic approach to wellness and came upon a path to health, as well as a path to Self, Ayurveda. These Ayurveda fundamentals spoke to her deeply and led to major changes in her life with healthy eating, exercise, meditation, more education, and the exploration of Yoga. Her first teachers, Peter Purol & Ravensara helped her gain an appreciation for Yoga. She was a regular at Peace Yoga, but was looking to grow. She practiced at home and with her family, husband and 2 girls. It wasn’t until her first visit to Yoga Centric that she felt like she found the perfect home. Under the guidance of the very strong women there, including Jenny, Candice, and Alexis, she quickly became an everyday student once again, and trained to become a teacher after 14 years of practice. In between, she had gone back to school to become a Holistic Nutritionist (2014) and Reiki II Practitioner (2016). For Judy, Yoga is about finding your personal strength, both mentally and physically. Meditation, breathing and awareness of Self are the focus in her Vinyasa Flow classes. She also finds it important to incorporate other aspects of total mindfulness, so she includes essential oils, Ayurveda principles, sound immersion and Astrology. Her 14 years of passion and education has led to a vast knowledge in holistic living, coaching and helping others find what works for them - ultimately, guiding them to their True Self. No project is more valuable than to find your true self. She hopes anyone attending her class finds space to be themselves through movement and breathe.
