She quickly made yoga a lifelong commitment and pursued her passion as a yoga professional. She discovered CorePower Yoga in 2010 and was instantly drawn to the studio’s incredible hot yoga classes.Yoga EducationHer formal yoga education began in 2011, when she completed CorePower Yoga’s 200-hour Power Vinyasa Yoga certification at Chicago's South Loop studio. Her CPY training continued with specialized certifications in Hot Power Fusion, Yoga Extensions, CoreRestore, and Level Two training. Building upon this foundation, Julie advanced her practice and teaching skills in 2018 by completing a 300-hour teacher training at the Samadhi Yoga Center in Denver, Colorado. During this comprehensive program, she had the opportunity to study under distinguished yoga instructors Shiva Rea, Amrit Desai, and Rod Stryker.Among the many styles she practices, Yoga Nidra is Julie’s favorite.
