About

My path to yoga and energy work has been a circuitous one.

I've always been aware of energy flowing through me, especially into my hands.  As a young child I felt this as excitement, a radiance from the inside-out.  I would often squeeze my hands because they held so much energy.  As I grew older, I directed this energy into dance, athletics and academics.  I studied law, became a real estate attorney and later worked in politics as a writer.  Neither of those pursuits felt like the real me. It wasn't until I started practicing yoga-the physical postures, meditation and breath work-that I rediscovered the joyful expression of my inner-being.  The sense of magic, wholeness and peace I found through yoga inspired me to dive into the practice and ultimately to teach.  Yoga also opened my awareness of the subtle energy body and how it affects our health.  After years of exploring energy healing on my own, I studied more formally in a certificate program in Reiki therapy. My work is a synthesis of energy healing, yoga, meditation and breath work and I am thrilled to offer these practices to help clients find a deeper connection to their body, mind and soul and a greater sense of strength, vitality and well-being. I am a certified SmartFLOW instructor and am registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT500 Level.  I have taught at DancelineLA, The Hub, Sinai Akiba Academy and Milken Community High School, all located in Los Angeles.  I am a graduate of HIA in Ojai, California and hold a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
