Julie loves to teach yoga.
Her classes are friendly and social. It is like a mini workshop each week. We get to explore, question and practice yoga together as Julie helps guide the students along the way. Julie trained originally at the Kripalu Center of Yoga and health in Massachusetts and then she spent many years studying with the late Esther Myers, where she was certified at the 500 hour level. I think Julie's real gift is that she teaches a lot of different students with different bodies, of different ages and backgrounds. Her teaching is based in her observations of what works for people but she also keeps an open mind and will help a student find a way to make the pose work for them. She started teaching in 1997. She offers 7 classes per week from gentle to more advanced. Everyone is welcome. She is now a certified Yoga Tune-Up teacher. She has studied with Yoga Tune-Up teachers, Jill Miller, Dinneen Viggiano and Elizabeth Wipff.
