Juliette Betancourt's first encounter with yoga happened at the age of 15 sparked by an interest in exploring the inner self through awareness of the body.
That interest led her to study different western and eastern philosophies and spiritual disciplines throughout her life, circling back to yoga after battling an autoimmune condition and realizing the impact a continuous and focused yoga practice had in her wellbeing. The yoga philosophy became her passion, as did the deep calling to share this knowledge with all those who think they cannot practice yoga. Juliette began her yoga teaching studies under renowned yoga teacher and Ayurveda practitioner, Arpita Shah, following the pure Krishnamacharya lineage. Under Arpita’s loving guidance, Juliette continues to learn how to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle while living a full, pain-free life. Juliette holds a B.S. in Business Management and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and instruction. Juliette is a life-long learner, who has continued to study with her teacher, Arpita Shah, to obtain the 500-YTT certification as well as the Ayurveda Wellness Counselor one.
