Kahea Bencke is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
She is also certified as a Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She began her yoga teacher trainings with Mary Bastien, Jennifer Reuter, and Murti Hower at Open Space Yoga in 2009. Then she went on to train in Yin Yoga with Paulie Zink, Inner Axis Yoga with Max Strom, and Thai Yoga Massage with Saul David Raye. Kahea completed both the 500-hour and the Master-level Sattva Yoga teacher training programs in India with Anand Mehrotra. She most recently graduated from the Spanda Yoga Movement Therapy Program under Dr. Jaime Stover Schmitt. She has also studied under Raja Choudhury and Yogiraj Satgurunath Siddhinath. She enjoys sharing the joy of yoga, and utilizing a variety of yoga techniques to help her students transcend beyond any perceived limitations.
