About

Passionate about movement and the exploration of the human body, Karen initially immersed herself in the world of sports, dance, and circus before turning to yoga.

Her curiosity about training and well-being naturally led her to deepen her understanding of both the body and the mind. In 2020, during the pandemic, Karen discovered yoga more consistently after having practiced it occasionally for several years. This discipline quickly became a deep passion, offering her a new sense of balance and a more holistic approach to movement. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she began a 200-hour Hatha-Vinyasa teacher training with Oasis Yoga formerly Namaste Yoga in January 2024, with the simple goal of gaining more personal insight. Her commitment and dedicated practice led her to obtain her yoga teacher certification in September 2024. Following this, Karen felt an increasing desire to guide others on their own journeys. With a rich background combining dance, circus, and physical preparation, Karen incorporates a deep understanding of the body in motion into her teaching. Her approach emphasizes respecting one’s body, conscious breathing, gratitude, body awareness, and self-listening, offering her students a personalized and compassionate practice. Today, she dedicates herself to teaching yoga while continuing her circus career in parallel. With her expertise in movement, she provides rich and nuanced instruction, helping her students develop strength, flexibility, and a deeper connection to their bodies, allowing them to achieve physical and mental well-being.
