Kari Sims Anthon

Originally from Ojai, California, her journey has led her through a rich tapestry of teachers, traditions, and communities around the world — and has shared her teachings from California to Oregon, England, Mexico, and New Zealand.Since 2006, Kari has called beautiful Central Oregon home. In 2009, she founded Life.Love.Yoga., a heart-centered yoga studio in Sisters, Oregon followed by the launch of the Life.Love.Yoga. Teacher Training School. She also served as the primary facilitator of the Heart of the Cascades Yoga Teacher Training at Central Oregon Community College from 2009–2014.Kari began her teaching career at Lulu Bandha’s in Ojai, the home of the Ojai Yoga Crib, and continues to honor the depth of study and diverse influences that have shaped her teaching style.Off the mat, Kari is a mama to her son, Auckland, and a fly-fishing caddy to her husband, Dan Anthon, owner of Just Add Water Fly Fishing. She’s a devoted friend, auntie, insatiable traveler, and an end-of-life doula. She is a certified member of both the Birth, Breath and Death Institute and theNational End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA).
