I discovered the love for yoga at a very young age growing up in Mexico City through my mom my first yoga teacher I solidified my passion in years to come during my first -Hour TT at Yoga Heaven with Betsy Kase a -Hour Ashtanga TT at Pure Yoga a -Hour Ashtanga Intensive TT with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor a -Hr Mindfulness Meditation TT through Tibet House NY and numerous seminars and workshops in Philosophy Buddhism and Meditation with wonderful teachers and mentors like Robert Thurman Richard Freeman David Nichtern Ram Dass and Miles Neale Through those experiences I gained deeper knowledge of the practice as a holistic way of life and as a practical tool to elevate my humanity for the service of others In my classes I invite students to find a deeper connection with the breath and to always listen to their own bodies I strive to make practitioners feel seen welcomed and respected Always a student my motto is “the real yoga begins once we step off the mat and into the real world”.
