About
Hello! I have been teaching group fitness classes since 1997 but did not start teaching yoga until I completed my first yoga workshop in 2007 and immediately realized how yoga can benefit everyone.
As my experience and passion for yoga grew, I decided to deepen my knowledge of yoga by enrolling in a 200 hour teacher training program with Jessica Jollie at Yoga Landing in Chattanooga,Tennessee. Definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made! During this training I had the opportunity to learn from and train with some amazing teachers; Jessica Jollie and the amazing Yoga Landing staff, Taylor Hunt, Simon Park, Ty Landrum, Marcy Braverman Goldstein, David Garrigues, Joe Taft, Leslie Kaminoff, and Asha Wolf just to name a few. Since completing the 200 hour training program in 2015 I have continued to grow in my own practice and teaching with the 300 hour teacher training program at Yoga Landing and a regular teaching schedule at Bradley Wellness Center. I believe in never stop being a student. One of my favorite lines from the Bhagavad Gita is "On this path no effort is wasted". I hope to continue teaching and sharing my love for yoga well into my 100s! Namaste
