Kasa has been an RYT with Yoga Alliance since 2006, when she completed her teacher training at Prague Yoga School in the Czech Republic.
Practicing yoga increased her interest in the mind-body connection and contributed to Kasa earning her doctorate in occupational therapy in 2016. Working from her framework as an occupational therapist, Kasa utilizes an integrative approach to well-being to help people live life to the fullest. Her background in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology serves as a basis for her classes, with particular emphasis on postural alignment and modifications for varying abilities. Utilizing breath, she encourages people to explore dimensions of asana. She highlights the rejuvenating and restorative aspects of poses. Drawing from her background in rehabilitation sciences, she designs classes that emphasize safety and the comical and capricious aspects of asana practice in a modern world.
