Katarina first stepped into a yoga studio in Boston in 2012 but it wasn't until two years later that she felt an internal shift in her heart and from that moment on she knew Yoga would be an integral part of her life until her final savasana.
Katarina studied under the amazing Ahna Hoke whose teaching is greatly influenced by Anusara Yoga.Currently, Katarina is Ahna's assistant which she enjoys a lot as it allows her to be mentored by one of the best. In Katarina's classes, students are guided in breathing and intention to cultivate openness and softness in every pose. Katarina really enjoys enhancing students practice through the hands on assists. She understands that every body operates differently, and that the same pose will look and feel differently for each student. Katarina lives through the physical and the spiritual practice, which she believes gives us all access to truth and love. In her own words... “Teaching yoga is one of the most fulfilling and humbling experiences in my life. Teaching yoga directly asks me “how can I serve?” and it forces me to be present. Yoga is one of the most joyful and rewarding parts of my life...it allows me to be who I really am and through my teaching I encourage students to be the best versions of themselves because everything we need to know is already within us.”
