My name is Katelyn Goodhart, and I currently in my final few weeks of physical therapy school! I will graduate with my Doctorate in August! Prior to PT school, I studied exercise science with minors in biology and entrepreneurship.
My yoga education started when I attended my 200 YTT in July of 2016 and since then I have continued to educate myself through my formal education as well as with books and research. I started practicing yoga in 2015 to help me manage a stressful time in life and before I knew it, I fell in love with the world of yoga. Yoga has made me happier, healthier, and more at ease with myself. I am very happy that I made the decision to get my 200 YTT and even more excited that I am now a 200 E-RYT! I enjoy teaching foundational beginners classes, slow flow, and my most favorite a vinyasa class that focuses on getting into poses and holding them to ensure correct alignment and to encourage the students to release and feel the pose. I plan to incorporate my yoga teachings and practice in my physical therapy practice as well! Helping individuals find a wholistic way to heal, take care of themselves, and be mindful brings me so much joy. I hope to bring joy to others as well.
