Katherine Guevara has been practicing yoga for 12 years & studied under experts specializing in Therapeutic, Trauma-Informed, Restorative, Yin, Iyengar, Prime of Life, Prenatal & Acro Yoga. She enjoys using thematic storytelling for yoga slow flow & to celebrate our connection with nature, the universe, and water as featured in her Kula Tales yoga coloring books Nature Body, Space Body, and Water Body. Kula Tales believes yoga sequences that follow a story are more engaging and cultivate a sense of inclusion, belonging, and connection to all beings everywhere. This strengthens our universal kula (family) bond.Katherine is also the founder of Zen Hen Chicken Yoga, the original yoga and meditation offered with friendly backyard hens.In academia, she has earned a doctorate in Education Policy, M.S. degrees in Teaching & in Business for Social Entrepreneurship & B.S. degrees in Journalism & in Spanish.
