Kat Hyde is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Kat fell in love with yoga at the age of 16. Being a high-level team sport athlete, yoga gave her a balance that could make her stronger mentally and physically. After practicing for over a decade, she decided to take her practice further and graduated from her 200 hour training in Fall 2021 at Wild Heart Yoga. Having a background in teaching physical education, she hopes to bring all the wonderful concepts to both younger students and adults alike. She wants to bring awareness and empowerment that can translate throughout students’ lives and avenues. Mission Statement: Kat wants to bring empowerment, body awareness and confidence to all of her students. She hopes to create an atmosphere that helps all her students especially children, learn how to be in control of their bodies and emotions. She believes in fostering a healthy mind to body connection. She hopes that yoga helps build a bridge to loving who they are and help them become who they want to be.
