She eagerly attended classes and workshops at local studios embraced Ayurvedic principles and incorporated mindful meditation into her lifestyle When one of her teachers Catherine LaBar announced the launch of the Pinecone Yoga Institutes -hour Nature-based Yoga Teacher Training TM Program Katie eagerly enrolled and graduated in July Since then she has offered classes at the Marquette Farmers Market in partnership with local non-profit organizations and most recently at BeWell Marquette Katie fosters a deep connection with nature in all aspects of her life and her classes are no exception Her offerings range from gentle hatha flow to restorative yin and yoga nidra with nature-based themes mindfulness practices and inclusive language woven throughout.
