I have been practicing yoga in some capacity since 2013.
At first, yoga was for me simply a form of exercise I enjoyed (or at least a form of exercise I enjoyed more than some others). I was drawn to the atmosphere, the movement, the feeling I had after each class without really knowing why. By the time I had used every Groupon and intro offer in town, I realized that yoga had become an important part of my life. It was a healthy physical practice but also a pathway into self-awareness and self-love; it was relief for anxiety and another way to pray. I knew I wanted to learn more and bring this gift to others. In 2018 I completed my 200-hour teacher training at the Perennial Wisdom Yoga School in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, and have been an excited teacher and eager learner ever since. My style of teaching is gentle and reflective with a healthy dose of humor. I want to help you to find your edge, whether that be in a difficult posture or in a deep pranayama practice, while demonstrating that yoga can meet you exactly where you are by offering lots of options. In every class, at every moment, you are enough. I can’t wait to practice with you!
