Kathryn found yoga while working in corporate advertising in New York City needing an outlet for the stresses of a job that was leaving her unfulfilled Feeling called to a path of self-discovery she quit her job to travel and enrolled in a -hour shamanic yoga teacher training in the Sacred Valley of Peru During the training she felt most drawn to the beneficial effects yoga can have on the physical body and mind mentally physically physiologically and emotionally Since then Kathryn has concentrated her continuing education on Viniyoga feeling called to help others work on themselves and their blockages through yoga She is currently enrolled in a -year Viniyoga Certification Training Program in Chennai India Yoga has helped her change the quality of her life and the relationship she has with herself through becoming more aware connected present fearless and open to surrender Her hope is to share this light with others through teaching Kathryns classes are strongly focused on the breath and the breath components moving slowly and intentionally to connect to the entire movement with a deep influence from the tradition of Krishnamacharya and Viniyoga.
