About
After sustaining a back injury from a fall in 2004 I found myself unable to run or exercise without pain or additional injury.
My quest to find a solution let me to a Physical Therapist who suggested yoga. I was fairly certain yoga was not for me. I was a runner and the idea of anything as slow as Yoga didn’t make sense in my runners mind. But humility and the desire to exercise drove me back to the yoga mat. Yoga has provided me the muscle strength and flexibility required to run and exercise again. After practicing for seven years I decided to obtain my teaching training certification. I believe yoga is just as much a body practice as a mind practice and can lead to greater physical health, stress relief, mental clarity and peace. My training is in Hatha yoga and I tend to teach a practice that is a combination of slow flow and meditation. I received my training and certification from Scott Anderson in 2012.
