About
I’ve been teaching yoga since 2013 after retiring for teaching elementary students.
At that time I received my certification through YogaFit. In 2017, I desired a deeper understanding of yoga and began my RYT200 training at Seva Yoga Studio in East Grand Rapids. Since that time I have taught yoga classes for Grand Raids Parks and Rec, Seva Yoga and the Empire Area Community Center. My favorite classes to teach are Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Yoga and Restorative Yoga. My goal is to provide a safe practice that connects breath to poses. I offer my students several variations including props and encourage students to listen to their unique body and modify accordingly.
