I have maintained a daily yoga and meditation practice since I am a licensed counselor who integrates yoga into my clinical practices which are primarily focused on trauma-informed interventions I am also a doctoral student at the University of Cincinnati where my research focus is teaching BIPOC youth to improve self-regulation to diminish the likelihood of being funneled into the school-to-prison pipeline In July of I had the privilege of teaching yoga to the youth participants in the Cincinnati Reds Summer Base Camp at the University of Cincinnati I am also currently a student in the -hour IAYT-C program of the Yoga Life Insitute Keith Vukasinovich is a Registered Yoga Teacher RYT which acknowledges the completion of yoga training with a Registered Yoga School RYS.
