About
I began regularly practicing yoga a couple of years after surviving a serious car accident.
I made an amazing recovery, but my body was not the same and my mind had trouble coming to terms with that. I first noticed the benefits of yoga through increased physical strength and flexibility, through time and practice I noticed mental and emotional changes as well. My stress levels went down and I became a happier and nicer person. Most importantly, I began to build a healthier relationship with myself and found my way back to trusting and appreciating my body. I have worked with high-level athletes as well as individuals of all ages in a rehabilitative setting. I believe in playfully exploring how the breath, poses, and movements of yoga feel in your body and noticing what happens when you allow your mind to remain fully present. My hope is to create an environment where students can find gratitude and feel comfortable exploring what their bodies and minds are capable of.
