I started practicing yoga in 2011 with the intention of managing back pain caused by a disc injury the year before.
For the next 3 years, I developed a home practice that slowly but surely both decreased my pain and increased my range of motion. In 2014, I began attending Ashtanga classes regularly and fell in love with the practice. Through daily practice and constant learning, yoga has changed my life holistically – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. My goal as a teacher is to inspire students of all kinds to practice their yoga and be open to the wonderful change it can bring.
