Ken is a passionate and dedicated yoga instructor with over 2500 hours of teaching experience.
His mission is to share yoga, mindfulness, and health wellness and resilience practices in ways that are accessible uplifting and transformative. Ken offers group classes, private sessions, and wellness workshops at Golds Gym locations throughout San Antonio at Loma De Vida Spa & Wellness at La Cantera Resort and online via Zoom. His classes are known for blending movement breath and mindfulness to help students cultivate strength balance and inner calm. As an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider YACEP, Ken brings both expertise and authenticity to every class. He also holds a Primary Group Fitness Instructor certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America enabling him to design safe effective and inspiring programs for diverse students. Ken retired from the United States Air Force after more than 20 years of distinguished service. His career included assignments on the Joint Staff, in Space Operations, Special Operations, and Cyber Operations. Twice selected as a Squadron Commander, he led teams supporting combat operations in Kuwait Iraq and Afghanistan during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. This background has shaped his leadership style and strengthened his ability to teach resilience focus and balance—qualities he now shares with yoga students, wellness communities, and fellow veterans. Ken's unique blend of discipline leadership and compassion makes him not only an effective instructor but also a mentor and guide for students seeking holistic well-being. His core strengths include vinyasa and hatha yoga instruction, mindfulness and resilience training, group fitness programming, and wellness support for veterans, first responders, and their families.
