About
Kerri began practicing yoga as a teen in the late-1980s.
After falling in love with the openness it brought to her body and the peacefulness it brought to her mind, she earned her first yoga teacher certification in 1996. She earned a 500-hour certification from YabYum Yoga in 2004. In 2009, she earned a 200-hour certification from the Samudra School of Living Yoga. In 2018, she earned a 200-hour certification through pranapiloga. In 2021, through the Experienced Yoga Teacher Pathway, she was recognized as an E-RYT 500 as of 2004. In 2021, she completed a 300-hr Yoga Wellness Educator YTT. She has studied with: Paul Grilley, Shiva Rea, Pierre Couvillion, Ana Forrest, Pat Pao, James Bailey, Dr. Ray Long, Doug Keller, Judith Hanson Lasater, and Tom Myers. She uses her specialty of anatomical/energetic alignment and injury prevention and rehabilitation when she teaches. Kerri currently teaches classes virtually and teaches the anatomy portion of several local YTT programs.
