Kerrie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).Kerrie’s yoga journey began in 2019, and she fell in love with the practice.
In 2021 she began volunteering at her local studio and in 2023 she began teaching. She has completed two (2) 200-hour teacher trainings from different schools as well as three (3) yin yoga teacher trainings (most recently under Paul Grilley), yoga nidra, Accessible Yoga and children’s yoga. In addition, she has completed additional yoga anatomy courses and The Roll Model Method of Self Myofascial Release.Kerrie’s teaching experience includes power yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra, children’s yoga, gentle vinyasa and beginner yoga classes. Her calm and peaceful voice and presence bring ease to even the most challenging power yoga classes. She is known for her ability to make yoga accessible to all levels of students.Kerrie has dedicated over thirty years teaching in the public school system and recognizes the stress educators face daily and began offering free yoga sessions for educators in 2023. In addition, she has provided yoga sessions during staff development and Wellness Fairs at public schools. She also often spends her “prep periods” to provide yoga and SEL for elementary school children during the school day
