I am an RYT 500 instructing from a trauma informed standpoint.
I began my yoga practice in 2009 through mindfulness meditation as a way to manage stress, migraines, and insomnia. I found Asana (poses) in 2018 after a major hip injury. I focus on teaching both Ashtanga style strength and cooling Yin classes. My hope is to help others bring balance back to the body and restore the nervous system. Students can join me in studio or virtually by downloading the GloFox App from the app store and searching Black Bird Yoga.
