About
I have been practicing yoga since the summer of 1996. I still remember the joy, relief, sense of coming home I felt stepping off the mat after that first class. I have been sharing that joy with those around me ever since.
After years of weekend yoga workshops, leading spontaneous classes in my living room or sharing pain relieving poses with friends on the sidelines of kids soccer field; I made it official and completed my 200 RYT the summer of 2016. I am so excited to share this practice either in a class setting or one on one. My teaching style leans toward vinyasa flow, gentle release and restorative poses. As a yoga teacher my approach is caring and intuitive: I want to help my friends/students achieve what they want and need for themselves each given day on their mat. Everyone can receive all the benefits of yoga no matter how flexible or strong. Let’s appreciate our health and what our bodies CAN DO in the present day and work from there. My strongest skill is appreciating where I am at the moment and helping my students do the same.
