Kimberly Dahlmann has been a student of Meditation and Yoga since   In Kimberly met Nancy Gilgoff and began dedicated practice in the Ashtanga Yoga system  She began studying under the guidance of Shri K Pattabhi Jois in making annual trips to receive his teachings both in the United States and traveling twice to Mysore India  In addition to receiving traditional practice in Ashtanga Kimberly has studied extensively with many gifted teachers including Donna Fahri Eddie Modestini and Nikki Doane and Kofi Busia  Kimberly’s meditation practice is guided by the Aghor tradition and her close relationship to Baba Harihar Ramaji of the Sonoma AshramKimberly brings compassion integrity and sensitivity to the classroom  As a teacher she intuitively guides the body with strong hands on adjustments penetrates both the interior and exterior alignment of the body through clear communication and individualizes the practice to meet each student where they are As the founder and director of Yoga East she is committed to offering a gentle and compassionate space within community and preserving the tradition of Yoga that has been shared with her.
