Kim Kennamer has practiced yoga for a quarter of a century and knows its transformational powers well.
Her classes are a mix of static hatha postures and vinyasa sequences reflecting the teachers who have influenced her practice, her knowledge of human anatomy and Yogic philosophy. Kim attended her first 200-hr teacher training at Ananda School of Yoga & Meditation in California, and traveled to Mysore, India to complete a second 200-hr teacher training at the ATMA Vikasa Center for Yogic Sciences. Additionally she has attended hundreds of hours of yoga workshops and conferences with some of the most influential yoga teachers in the world making her adept at teaching complete beginners as well as more advanced students. Certified in Thai Yoga Massage she often incorporates assisted stretching in her alignment-based asana classes leaving her students feeling revitalized and energetic. When she is not on her mat she can often be found reading, writing stories, or exploring beautiful spaces outdoors.
