About
Kimberly has been studying yoga since 1990.
Her past experiences as a performer and instructor of dance have led her to this gentle yet effective system. With a strong background in Iyengar Yoga, she has built an eclectic teaching style by training with teachers such as Tias Little, Elena Brower, Judith Lasater, Ramanand Patel, Shiva Rae, Kim Schwartz, Erich Schiffmann and Rodney Yee. Annual workshops and teacher training programs continue to add to her knowledge. As an instructor Kimberly is fully certified to teach Hatha yoga and has been registered with Yoga Alliance since 2002. In 2010, she was granted designation as a Continuing Education Provider through Yoga Alliance. She currently teaches classes and hosts teacher trainings at Happy Blue Marble in Carlsbad California. Her book "Yoga Posts: Building a Steady Yoga Practice One Week at a Time" is the culmination of years of teaching and learning the entire system that is yoga.
